Two Dimensional HPLC is the selective transfer of the eluent from one column to another. This technique has several uses; among them is an orthogonal separation in the second dimension that helps separate compounds that were not separated in the first dimension. This seminar will discuss two dimensional theory, equipment, and software. Several pharmaceutical and natural product examples will be given that demonstrate the power of this technique.
